Our Story
Shining Fame Performance opened in the fall of 2012 in Worthington Minnesota. We had a small space and 80 kids who loved to dance! In the fall of 2013 we opened a bigger space and had just over 150 kids sign up for dance! In 2020 we moved into a larger space with 3 dance rooms.
In September 2021, we opened our permanent location in Worthington. We are so happy to be in our own space and have enough room for our dancers to flourish! It’s been an amazing journey and we are excited for the future of Shining Fame!
In February 2022, Shining Fame Performance made history by receiving the first ever bid for Worthington to The Dance Worlds. This was a dream that both Robyn and the Platinum Team members had for years. It finally came true this year and the Platinum Team took the stage in Pom, Lyrical, Jazz and Hip Hop at The Dance Worlds in April. It was an experience like no other and we can’t wait to go back again!
We continue to look forward to a great future for Shining Fame as our dancers continue to grow and progress. We believe in giving students a fun and supportive learning environment while teaching them and guiding them to progress in their dance journey! Personal student growth is important to us and we are amazed at the progress we have seen!
