A Little About Us
Shining Fame Performance Dance Studio has been serving students in and around Worthington for over 12 years.
Shining Fame Performance opened in the fall of 2012 in Worthington Minnesota. We had a small space and 80 kids who loved to dance! In the fall of 2013 we opened a bigger space and had just over 150 kids sign up for dance! In 2020 we moved into a larger space with 3 dance rooms. In September 2021, we opened our permanent location in Worthington. We are so happy to be in our own space and have enough room for our dancers to flourish! It’s been an amazing journey and we are excited for the future of Shining Fame!
In February 2022, Shining Fame Performance made history by receiving the first ever bid for Worthington to The Dance Worlds. In 2024, the Shining Fame Open Hip Hop team surpassed yet another goal by making it to finals at The Dance Worlds and receiving 8th place. Our Mini and Youth teams also continue to thrive as they compete regionally on an elite level.
In 2024, we increased the level of recreational class offerings and we have been seeing great improvements in dancers technique. We continue to put on multiple showcases each year and we look forward to these performances as a great time to show off what we have been working so hard on!
We continue to look forward to a great future for Shining Fame as our dancers continue to grow and progress. We believe in giving students a fun and supportive learning environment while teaching them and guiding them to progress in their dance journey! Personal student growth is important to us and we are amazed at the progress we have seen!
