Our dance classes are offered for students ages 2 and older. Term 3 classes begin January 13, 2025 and end with our Spring Showcase on April 12-13, 2025.

Class Information
Terms: We have adopted a 3-term structure to give more opportunities for dancers to learn and grow. We value training for dancers to help them achieve their goals. This structure will provide a strong foundation for dancers and allow them to unlock their potential through dance!
- Term 1: May 14-August 15 Classes are open to everyone and offered once per week. The term ends with an in-studio showcase for family and friends. This term is designed to help dancers increase their technique and explore movement and increase ability in each style.
- Term 2: September 15-Dec 17 Classes are open to everyone and offered twice per week. The term ends with the Winter Showcase at the Memorial Auditorium on December 17, 2024. This term is designed to continue to increase the dancer's technique along with learning routines for the Winter Showcase.
- Term 3: January 13-April 13 Classes are open to everyone and offered once per week. The term ends with the Spring Showcase at the Memorial Auditorium on April 12-13, 2025. This term is designed to give dancers the opportunity to work through new skills and technique along with learning routines for the Spring Showcase.
Registration: Dancers register for classes per Term. There is a $25 registration fee per dancer for their first term for the 2024-2025 dance year. This fee is charged once per year, per dancer.
Schedule: All classes are scheduled once per week for Term 3. Studio schedule can be viewed here → STUDIO SCHEDULE
Attendance: We expect all students to make a reasonable effort to attend classes regularly. There are no attendance requirements for classes. Regular attendance is encouraged for maximum student growth and progression. Attendance for classes does count for dancers on Competitive Teams.
Classes: Dancers learn and progress in each style of dance along with skills and technique. Dancers learn routines in each style to perform at the Showcases. Each Term, new routines are learned with an emphasis on choreography and movement. All students have the opportunity to increase dance movement ability along with skill/technique progression.
- Kinderdance: focus on introducing students to creative movement and basic dance steps and body positions. Students explore moving their body to music and across the dance floor. Kinderdance is a fun way to introduce young children to the art of dance!
- Jazz/Pom: focus on motions, placement and style of Jazz and Pom dance along with technique of skills associated with Jazz and Pom routines.
- Ballet/Lyrical: focus on learning and improving proper Ballet technique with the use of traditional Ballet exercises. Ballet technique is pivotal for overall dance improvement in all styles! Lyrical style choreography and performance qualities are introduced and developed.
- Hip Hop/Tumbling: focus on developing tricks used in Hip Hop and Tumbling skills used in all styles of dance. Focus on Hip Hop movement to improve performance quality of hip hop dancing. Students are on a personal Tumbling plan and will progress following their individual plan.
Costumes: Class costumes for new students will be ordered in February. Costume deposit is due February 15 - $65 per class. Costume balance is due on March 30; amount will vary based on actual costume price. To view the costume balance amount per class, click HERE. Costumes worn for the Spring Showcase are the same costumes worn for the Winter Showcase. Dancers who performed in the Winter 2024 showcase, will not need to order new costumes.
Performances: Classes perform at the Spring Showcase April 12-13, 2025. Additional performances may be added as opportunities come up.
Tuition: Rates are per dancer, per payment. Competition Dancers receive 50% off tuition for studio classes for Term 3. Late fee of 5% of balance due added each week account is past due. Tuition is calculated manually for all students and will be charged to the card on file upon approval of registration. If a debit/credit card is not on file, the student will not be registered for classes. To view our enrollment rules and policies, please click here. Kinderdance (ages 2-4): $36 per payment. Classes for Ages 5-7: 1 class - $40 per payment, 2 classes - $56 per payment, 3 classes - $72 per payment. Classes for Ages 8-11: 1 class - $44 per payment, 2 classes - $64 per payment, 3 classes - $81 per payment. Classes for Ages 12+: 1 class - $48 per payment, 2 classes - $72 per payment, 3 classes - $90 per payment

Can my child try dance class before making a commitment?
Yes! New students may try their first class before making a payment.
What should my child wear to Dance Class?
Female dress code: tank top, sports bra or leotard with shorts, leggings or skirt. Hair in a bun, no jewelry (stud earring are ok).
Male dress code: basketball type shorts or athletic pants with tank top or t-shirt.

What shoes does my child need for Dance Class?
Kinderdance - girls: pink ballet shoes, boys: black ballet shoes
Ballet/Lyrical - tan half shoes
Jazz/Pom- tan half shoes

Are parents able to watch classes?
Yes! We have partnered with Watch Me Grow to provide a secure live stream for parents to watch all classes. We do not allow parents in the room during classes.
My child would like a challenge, can they join a class older than their age?
We do our best to challenge dancers at all age levels. We encourage dancers to remain with their age group. However, in certain circumstances we do allow dances to join with older dancers. We work hard to place all dancers appropriately.
